New Delhi: Xiaomi is going to launch its new smartphone Redmi A7 Pro 5G in India. The company has fixed its launch date as April 13 and it will be launched at 12 noon. Even before the launch, its microsite has gone live, due to which information about the design and some features of the phone has been revealed.
The microsite shows that the phone has a flat frame design. Along with these features, a new bullet-style camera module will be seen on the rear side, which gives it a different look.
This smartphone is likely to have a large display of 6.9 inches. With a larger screen, this device will try to provide a better experience for videos and gaming.
The phone will be provided with an octa-core 5G processor so that users can get rapid internet speed and smooth performance. This device will work on Android 16 based HyperOS 3.
This time the company has focused specifically on AI features. Features like Google's 'Circle to Search' and in-built Gemini voice assistant can be found in the phone, which will improve the user experience.
For photography, it can be provided with a 32-megapixel dual AI rear camera setup. At the same time, a selfie camera with waterdrop notch will be available in the front.
The phone is likely to have a large 6,300mAh battery, which claims to last for a long time. This may be special for those users who give priority to battery backup.
The company has not yet disclosed the price, but many believe it will enter the budget segment. In such a situation, trying to provide more features at a lower price can make this phone competitive. It is expected that with the launch of this phone, competition in the market may increase further.
